Centro Guide di Roma e Provincia, a branch of SNGT- Fisascat CISL, is the association that has been guarding in Italy in the last five decades the rights of tourist guides and of their clients - the tourists. The association also contributes in many ways to the conservation of cultural heritage.
Our associated members are all authorised professional guides of Rome. They are able to plan and manage any itinerary of your choice: a standard tour, educational, museums, religious. In Italian and in most foreign languages.
Our fees are published by the Rome Council Tourist Office, which is the Council issuing patents for the area of Rome and checking on unauthorised guides.
Our members are also members of ANGT, an association that links all tourist guides in Italy (see code of conduct), organises seminars, conferences and links us to other International organisations (FEG, WFTGA, UNESCO, ICCROM).
